We wanted to bring a fresh, modern design to the design of the brewery branding, maintaining the ‘pictish’ element from the original. We then created a new bottle design label, and carefully choose a bottle that would compliment the heritage of product, but with a contemporary feel.
The new branding and product designs were rolled out and they not only received high acclaim from local bars and hotels, but supermarkets were keen to put them onto their shelves. The packaging design received an ‘Innovation’ award from the Grampian Food Forum.
